I often receive testimonials, beautiful pictures and great feedback from readers at home and your plant walls. I am especially fascinated by the individuality of the plant walls and the creativity of the respective owners. Every wall is like a painting. It shows a lot about its owners, their personality and their living style.

I don’t want to deprive you of these facets and also report on the experiences of the plant wall owners and the development of the plant wall. Of course, I also provide you with the information about planting and maintaining a vertical garden.

The plant green system used by my readers is the Vivitbrand «Plug and Plant» system.

This plant wall is very easy to assemble yourself and then plant as you please. The wall offers 1.6 m2 of plantable area and provides space for over a hundred plants. However, 60-80 plants are enough to fill the wall. To keep the maintenance effort low, the plant wall is automatically watered via a tank.

A Vivit green wall system can be used both indoors and outdoors. Especially outdoors, Vivit is ideal for growing a wide variety of herbs, vegetables, fruits and nuts.

I have several Vivits myself. One inside and 6 outside in the garden. I simply enjoy my fully automatic vertical garden and I’m not alone, as the following posts show.
